Side: 23"W x 26"D x 39.25"H. Arm: 24"W x 26"D x 39.25"H, arm 25.5"H. Taken from a chair design dating back to 5th Century Greece, this chair is the essence of enduring style. The Mackenzie chair is modeled from a version done in the late 1800's. The Metropolitan styling of this chair features a T-shaped back with a gentle curve that cradles the back and shoulders. The back tapers to meet the upholstered seat that is rounded at the back. The splayed front legs are tapered and well proportioned. The exposed wood arms are both beautiful and functional.

Side: 23"W x 26"D x 39"H. Arm: 24"W x 26.5"D x 39"H, arm 25.5"H. The Peyton chair is a Klismos style chair featuring button tufts on the inside back. The T-shape and curved back are characteristics of Klismos design. The tufted upholstery of the inside back tapers from top to bottom, accentuating the T-shape of the chair back. The gentle curve of the back of the chair cradles your back as you sit in the chair to dine. The shaped seat is tightly upholstered and is supported by saber shaped front leg posts and tapered back leg posts. The arm chair features delicate, exposed wood arms.

Inspiration for this Metropolitan lifestyle side chair came from the famous Egg chair design of Arne Jacobsen from the mid-twentieth century. You will not find many straight lines on our Reese chair. This curvaceous dining chair is sensual and graceful. The slight concaved chair back features broad curved wings. The curved lines of the side chair flow from the top of the chair, around the wings, down into a narrow waist and out the low arms that frame the seat. A continuation of this line leads your eye down the beautiful front saber leg posts and to the floor.
